EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT REVIEW

Employees offering positions to new employees, and employees preparing to accept a new job, are best protected by having an experienced attorney review their contract. Non-compete, non-solicitation, and exclusivity clauses are particularly difficult for non-attorneys to assess, and they can have long lasting impacts on employees. Further, employers want to ensure that the terms in the contract are legal, and enforceable, to ensure that they are not unpleasantly surprised when the employment relationship ends.

Casey Denson provided invaluable legal advice after I received my contract offer for my private practice job. She highlighted some troublesome clauses that I was able to have removed after negotiation. Most importantly, her detail oriented and professional approach gave me a sense of empowerment during this intimidating process.

Casey is highly responsive, experienced, and balanced. For example, she helped me
prioritize different issues so I could approach the negotiation in the most impactful way
possible to my personal priorities. . . . Our counterparty (i.e. my employer’s lawyer) is a 25 year veteran of employment law. I
felt like Casey was exceedingly well-versed in not only the law but also its application to
my specific issues. She easily matched wits with the counterparty.
